Mary Poppins
at Forestburgh Playhouse
Chaz co-choreographed Mary Poppins in the Catskills at Forestburgh Playhouse. The show received awesome reviews (see below) and partnered Chaz with this wonderful Equity theatre for the first time, thanks to director Christian Saint-Girard bringing Chaz on board. The show ran in July 2014 and featured Elizabeth Earley as Mary Poppins and Zak Edwards as Bert.
Little can be said about this theatrical delight without calling attention to the skills and talents of Director and Choreographer Christian Saint-Girard and Co-Choreographer Chaz Wolcott, and their interpretation of P.L. Traver’s story-book character Mary Poppins, a supernatural, mystical British nanny.”

Girard’s direction, ably assisted by Chaz Wolcott, is flawless and the numerous dance numbers are so fantastic that I did not want them to end. The chorus of boys and girls were clearly up to the challenge, since again, the choreography in Mary Poppins is really swell and the kids do a bang-up job, undoubtedly making Trapp and Saint-Girard proud as they tackle tap, ballet and jazz with aplomb."

The ensemble cast dances up a storm. The flawless choreography, especially in “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and the show-stopping “Step in Time” is worth the price of admission alone.”
